Blacklist LA
A nonprofit run organization fusing urban art and running. Founded in 2013, Blacklist LA is famous for its Monday night “Art Runs,” ~3–4 mile community runs that explore Los Angeles murals and street art. Hundreds of runners (all paces) gather weekly at 9 PM to run through different neighborhoods – the group stops at a featured mural, where run leaders share info about the artwork before a big group photo. Beyond Art Runs, Blacklist hosts Wednesday track workouts, Friday morning “Morning Miles,” and Sunday coffee runs, engaging over 10,000 Angelenos annually. The vibe is inclusive and lively – they literally run with speakers to create a moving party, and everyone is invited. It’s free to join and all about community and city pride.

Koreatown Run Club (KRC)
A large, influential running crew based in LA’s Koreatown, started in 2016 by Mike Pak and Duy Nguyen to bring the community together through running. KRC is known for its energetic, culture-infused vibe – they host runs 3–4 times a week: “Monday Night Blocks” (7 PM) offering 3 or 5 mile routes through K-town, Wednesday night track sessions (7:45 PM at LACC), Thursday 8 PM runs from the local burger joint Love Hour (with burgers and drinks after), and rotating Saturday morning long runs. All paces are truly welcome (the club’s motto: “everyone is welcome – just show up") and routes often split into 3 vs 5 mile options to accommodate levels. KRC’s runs are free and often attract 50+ runners, combining serious training (intervals, marathon prep) with a fun, social atmosphere celebrating Korean-American culture and community.

Labyrinth Run Club
Labyrinth Run Club LA offers a deeply rooted connection to nature, spirituality, and community—set against the backdrop of L.A.’s sprawling Griffith Park. Meeting every Saturday at 6:45 AM (gathering at Franklin Café, run begins around 7:00 AM), the club invites runners and walkers to embark on mindful ~3- to 5 km trail runs through the labyrinthine paths of the park. The group emphasizes presence, transformation, and inner connection, weaving physical movement into a ceremony-like experience that transcends the typical running club format. Labyrinth Run Club is less about speed and more about spiritual exploration and communal rhythm in the embrace of nature.

Run for Grace
Run for Grace Running Club, founded by Anthony and Jen Bailey, is a welcoming, community-focused group in Lancaster, California, built around the mission of supporting mental health through running. Every Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM, participants meet in front of the Lucky Luke Brewpub and set off at 7:15 PM for a lighthearted 3-mile (≈ 4.8 km) run or walk. All fitness levels are encouraged to join—runners are even asked to bring "party lights" like vests or headlamps to add a fun, welcoming flair to the evening. After the run, participants are invited to relax over food or drinks at Lucky Luke, with a 10% discount offered to all club members. The club centers on camaraderie, mental wellness, and giving back, inviting everyone to “Run Strong, Give Grace.”
