About TRC - The Run Club
TRC The Run Club is Madrid's largest and most comprehensive running club, blending structured running programs with strength, flexibility, and hybrid training across five accessible locations (Madrid Río, Retiro, Aravaca, Juan Carlos I, and Móstoles). Open 7 days a week with flexible morning, afternoon, and weekend schedules—no reservations needed—you can train freely at any site, running routes through iconic spots like Casa de Campo and Madrid Río.
Detailed Schedule
Meet at one of our 5 Madrid locations: Madrid Río (prime urban routes along the river), Retiro (scenic park loops), Aravaca (Hybrid Center with open-air cross-training), Juan Carlos I (spacious green paths), or Móstoles (suburban trails). Runs are organized by 3 levels—no strict pace groups, but tailored sessions like initiation (0–5 km easy jogs), intermediate (5–10 km with hills/intervals), and advanced (10+ km long runs/tempos for half-marathons/marathons). Year-round access with flexible indoor options in winter; summer emphasizes shaded routes to beat the heat. Special events include monthly initiation courses, race prep clinics for Valencia/Sevilla, and kids' Hybrid sessions—announced via Instagram. Routes vary by site: 8+ km flat asphalt in Madrid Río near Casa de Campo (17 km perimeter for epic loops), Retiro's tree-lined paths, and more, all no-reservation, 7 days a week.

Leadership
TRC The Run Club is founded and led by Antonio Brunete, a seasoned running coach who created the club as an evolution of the Madrid Río Running Club. With years of experience guiding groups through urban routes like Casa de Campo, he specializes in technique, race prep, and building inclusive communities—earning the club's #1 spot from Runner's World. Key coaches like Diego and María José (Majo) bring expertise in strength, mobility, and all-levels training, fostering a fun, supportive vibe for beginners to marathoners.
